Usher’s new single ‘DJ Got Us Fallin’ has finally leaked in its entirely. The track is the lead single from his new project ‘Versus’ which will drop in stores on August 24th. 

The Max Martin-produced, Pitbull-assisted song sounds exactly how I expected it to sound. Dance-pop song with a heavily synthesised beat and horribly auto-tuned vocals (Usher seeems to love auto tune at the moment). What im wondering though is recently Usher strongly criticized Jay Sean and Taio Cruz for bringing down the value of R&B music ; “How is Usher going to condemn Taio Cruz for bringing down R&B and his next single sounds just like a Taio Cruz song?” Thats just so damn true.

I can see this song being another smash for him because this is what is selling at the moment. No wonder horrible autotuned pop songs  like ‘The Club Is Alive’ and ‘OMG’ get to number one, because music fans are not questioning it , they just love regardless of what it sounds like. If people buy garbage, why do artists need to put in the effort of recording decent music with substance???

The song is catchy i must admit. BUT but but this is not classic Usher!

Tinie Tempah’s on course to make it two chart-toppers on the trot with ‘Frisky’.

David Guetta’s ‘Gettin’ Over You’ has been shunted down to second, while Usher’s ‘OMG’ has bounced back into the top three following his performance on the BGT final.

Miley Cyrus’s ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ has climbed into the top ten, while K’naan’s ‘Wavin’ Flag’ is just outside.

It’s also a case of onwards and upwards for Pixie Lott, who’s now inside the top 15 with ‘Turn It Up’, and Lady GaGa, who’s right outside the top 20 with ‘Alejandro’.

However, at present Gabriella Cilmi’s ‘Hearts Don’t Lie’ and Goldfrapp’s ‘Alive’ are nowhere to be seen in the top 40.

Over on the albums chart, Christina Aguilera’s Bionic is on course to knock Jack Johnson’s To The Sea down to second, while the latest Glee LP is holding steady in the top three.

Oh, and the Pixie Lott album’s back inside the top ten.

Live Performance : Usher, Will.i.am & Justin Bieber Perform ‘OMG’

Usher had a busy couple of days in the UK.. After performing “OMG” on the live finals of Britains Got Talent , the next day he opened London’s Summertime Ball show , where he performed past and present hits. He wowed the crowd with his impressive set and it also featured performances from Justin Bieber and Will.i.am also.

Usher though as soon as he finished his set had to dash straight to the airport as he jumped onto a waiting private jet to head to NY to perform at the Hot 97 Summerjam event. Here is his performance of his “OMG” song below!

Music News : Pictures from London’s Capital FM Summertime Ball ..

Capital FM’s annual ‘Summertime Ball’  attracted 70,000 people who turned up to watch chart acts like Cheryl Cole, Rihanna, Usher, Dizzee Rascal, JLS, Ke$ha, Jason Derulo, Chipmunk, Tinie Tempah, Alexandra Burke and Justin Bieber perform.

Surprises on the day included  Will.i.am and Justin Bieber joining Usher for a rendition of ‘OMG’, Florence Welch joining Dizzee Rascal for a surprise performance of their duet ‘You Got The Dirtee Love’, and Sean Kingston and Esmee also turned up un-announced.

Music News : Alicia Keys, Usher & JLS to perform on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’…

Simon Cowell is really pulling out all the stops for the Britain’s Got Talent live semi final shows this week isnt he??. After the success of attracting international stars to last seasons X Factor live shows it has been announced that International R&B stars Usher and Alicia Keys will perform this week. Last years winners Diversity kicked it off on the first live show with a truly amazing routine which certainly impressed the crowds and viewers.

Meanwhile, Usher, who had a recent UK no 1 with ‘OMG’ is also booked to appear. Alicia who had her first UK no 1 album recently, will appear within the week to perform ‘Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart’. On Friday, X Factor runners up JLS will perform their new song ‘The Club Is Alive’.

The live Britain’s Got Talent finals kicked off Monday night at 7:30pm with the first live semi-final. It was a very impressive start with singers like Olivia Archbold and Josh Barry flying the flag for the singing category. Olivia narrowly missed out on the final after acts Tobias Mead and Spellbound(who were both amazing by the way) were put through ahead of her.  Bring on the rest of the  live semi finals i say! :)

Theres also rumours that Miley Cyrus will be performing on the live Semi Final shows this week.
