Music Video : Kelly Rowland – Commander

I never really had high expectations for Kelly Rowland’s comeback, but i was really impressed by the Commander track.

I thought this change in style for Kelly would bring about a greater level of success for her so  i was disappointed to see that the video didnt really live up to the expectations of the track. I thought it would be much better. Kelly premiered the video earlier today and goes all futuristic for the Masashi Muto-directed clip. It features cameo appearances from the song’s creators, producer David Guetta and songwriter Rico Love and sees Kelly having a face-off with her alter ego. The track is the 29-year-old’s first international single from her upcoming new album which currently has a very tentative release date of September 14th. Check it out below:

The video is a nice video , dont get me wrong , its not at all poor , but when you see the song title , and then watch the video , it doesnt live up to expectations, i really think she should have gone all out on the choreography etc to “COMMAND” the attention of viewers of the video and make it a success.  But i still LOVE the track none the lesss.

UPDATED :  The video has already been taken down from You Tube… Rumours are that the video was leaked early when it wasnt actually completed. Apparantely the official video premiere will be tomorrow with all aspects of the video completed. So You will have wait for tomorrow to see the finished article! :)
