Being one of Simon Cowell’s favourites must be a very daunting pressure to be under.
Despite not winning last year’s X Factor, Murs had done a Leona and spent most of this year wrapping up his debut album, with lead single ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’ kicking off things rather nicely.
With hints of lazy summer tune, Murs’ Please Don’t Let Me Go is a track that smacks of both The Specials on a good day and Lilly Allen’s‘Smile’ on a slightly worser day!
The track itself it not groundbreaking, but conjures up a warm summer feeling that is bound to flutter many a heart. I think this track has the potential to do very well which is good news for Olly Murs! Its a grower for sure!
Fans of Mr Murs will be very happy about the video released , I wont give away too much about the video itself!
Make sure you take a look below!
& Check out a special acoustic performance of his brand new track!
Love the song and love the video, he’s kind of like a mix between Will Young and Jason Mraz. Please Don’t Let Me Go also has the kind of the same old fashioned style to ‘Pack Up’ by Eliza Doolittle. He’s a really nice guy, I met him at the MEN Arena’s birthday bash this month, hope he goes far :)
