MidweekChartUpdate – Good News For Tinie Tempah :)

  • Tinie Tempah’s on course to make it two chart-toppers on the trot with ‘Frisky’.
  • David Guetta’s ‘Gettin’ Over You’ has been shunted down to second, while Usher’s ‘OMG’ has bounced back into the top three following his performance on the BGT final.
  • Miley Cyrus’s ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ has climbed into the top ten, while K’naan’s ‘Wavin’ Flag’ is just outside.
  • It’s also a case of onwards and upwards for Pixie Lott, who’s now inside the top 15 with ‘Turn It Up’, and Lady GaGa, who’s right outside the top 20 with ‘Alejandro’.
  • However, at present Gabriella Cilmi’s ‘Hearts Don’t Lie’ and Goldfrapp’s ‘Alive’ are nowhere to be seen in the top 40.
  • Over on the albums chart, Christina Aguilera’s Bionic is on course to knock Jack Johnson’s To The Sea down to second, while the latest Glee LP is holding steady in the top three.
  • Oh, and the Pixie Lott album’s back inside the top ten.

    Christina Aguilera hit the ‘American Idol’ finale stage last night and the powerhouse vocalist performed a stunning medley of ‘Fighter’ and ‘You Lost Me’ – a new song from her upcoming ‘Bionic’ LP – for the audience. Aguilera’s  ‘Bionic’ album will be released on June 8th. Check out the performance below:

    That was certainly an incredible vocal from Christina Aguilera. I absolutely adore her vocals and always have.

    I hope people start to support her latest album “Bionic” cos she has undoubted talent, that should be all that matters!

    When it comes to vocals she is in that very top league of amazing vocalists.

    Personally I think it’s not a bad track , it’s a bit of a club banger and completely different to what Christina has done previously.

    The few times ive heard it I havent thought much of it partly because it seemed rather lacking in the chorus department, and also secondly because it wasn’t the genre-busting electro-indie-pop-rock-R&B epic we were hoping for! Others could disagree however..
