The beautiful Pixie Lott’s new single “Cant Make This Over” has had its video premiered recently. I was actually surprised initially that the duet with Jason Derulo “Coming Home” wasn’t picked as the next single but having seen the new video and listened to “Cant Make This Over” a few times it really has grown on me a substantial amount!
“Can’t Make This Over” is a really lovely midtempo ballad that was co-written by Eve Nelson and Daniel Bedingfield.
And as for the new video-clip, I love the reverse narrative concept of the video. It’s beautifully produced.
You can check out the visuals for the video below | Enjoy!
Finally Pixie Lott/Jason Derulo “Coming Home” has surfaced online & Nicole Scherzinger’s new single “Poison” in full , Check Them Both Out!
OH MY GODDDD! This is what I call a feel good kind of tune! This is my kind of song. I’ve been waiting to listen to this collaboration ever since it was announced. But Pixie Lott‘s super-anticipated collaboration with Mr Derulo, “Coming Home” is finally here to my delight.! The duet will be included as well as other four new tracks on Pixie’s upcoming “Turn It Up Louder” CD which will be available in the UK from this Monday, October 18th.
I’m pretty sure that this song will get the full single material. So what makes Coming Home such a good feel good tune then….? Ok its a very cute midtempo tune, nice lyrics and there is a great amount of chemistry between the two singers. It’s just one of them songs that grows on you every time you listen to it. You can just jam along to it with ease and just have a good time! Love it!
Check out the track in full below…!
To be perfectly honest I’ve never really taken Nicole‘s bid for solo success that much seriously. She’s suffered a few setbacks thus far in her solo career and with her debut album being put back I feared she would never reach the heights of her Pussycat Dolls group!
But after she featured on the X Factor as a judge I suddenly found myself warming to Nicole more than ever before, so I just found myself rooting for her and hoping her solo career picks up! And boy am I happy to hear her latest planned song release. If this attempt doesn’t do it , I have no idea what will!! Now, Nicole’s second attempt at solo stardom is taking a step in the right direction with lead single Poison.
It’s a big dance club stomper and it comes as no real surprise that the track was produced by the hugely acclaimed producer Red One.
“Poison” ticks all the boxes and i mean every single box.Poison comes complete with a big killer beat and catchy and effective lyrics. And a strong hook. “I’ve got poison on my mind!!”, Nicole sings. And boy she kills it! I’m totally feeling this 100%. The beautiful Nicole Scherzinger is set to release this club-banger on November 29th. BOY I really cannot bloody wait!!!

19-year-old songstress Pixie Lott has become an unstoppable force in the pop world since her first single Mama Do went straight to the top of the UK charts in August 2009. She’s basically been everywhere ever since establishing herself in today’s pop world! She is now cashing in on the success of her first album by issuing the re release of the album which is to be called “Turn it Up Louder”.
Broken Arrow is taken from the re release “Turn It Up Louder, the album is to include four new songs in addition to Broken Arrow. New songs are rumoured to be featuring the likes of Jason Derulo & Joe Jonas. It’s a bit of a cute video with Pixie looking gorgeous as per!
So then what about the video itself? It tells the story of the singer’s sadness for not being able to let go of her past lover. She searches for his figure among the crowd while memories of dancing with him keep returning to her! Pixie Lott has already had two previous number one singles so it will be interesting to see whether Broken Arrow can make it a hat trick of chart success.
Without further ado, here’s that music video in all its glory: Check it out below and Enjoy !!
The single is out on 11th October and coincides with her upcoming headline tour which kicks off at the end of November.
HE’S helped thrust other artists into the spotlight this year including the likes of Tinie Tempah – and now it’s finally LABRINTH’s turn. Let The Sunshine is a very upbeat feel good track and is the debut release from SIMON COWELL‘s latest signing.
Having already collaborated with the likes of TINIE TEMPAH, JLS and PRO GREEN , PIXIE LOTT and lots more this year, Lab has stepped out from behind-the-scenes to lap up life in front of the camera. And he certainly seems to be enjoying taking the centre stage!
And Lab, real name Timothy McKenzie, clearly had a fun day out shooting his vid with some bikini-clad babes. Sadly for him, they didn’t get a chance to dance in the rain with him though.
Iconic photographer RANKIN – who has snapped KATE MOSS, BRITNEY SPEARS and THE ROLLING STONES – is the mastermind behind the video. The video was filmed stateside.
I think this track could do big things for Labrinth. Number one anyone? I think so! Let The Sunshine is released September 26.

The track was co-written by Ruth-Anne Cunningham (Katharine McPhee, Leona Lewis) and produced by Toby Gad (Natasha Bedingfield, Jessica Jarrell).

Whether it be featuring on and producing top ten records for Tinie Tempah, producing remixes for The Gorillaz or signing to Simon Cowell’s Syco record label the kid Labrinth is officially the hottest property in the music business right now. He has also been producing records for the likes of Pixie Lott , JLS , Professor Green , not bad for someones who’s burst onto the scene in amazing style this year.
He has recently hooked up with SBTV to give his very own unique refreshing take on Bob Dylan‘s “Times They Are A-Changin” I cant say i know much about Bob Dylan but what a performance Labrynth gave for this song. True talent always delivers! Labrinth ‘s debut single will be out later this year! I for one cannot wait to hear it!
Check his A64 out below!
Labrinth stated that the song has a lot to say about the industry today!
Indeed times they are defiantly a’changing as I’m sure the new single that’s due to be released the end of August will show us again just how talented and diverse Labrinth is.
Producer and singer Labrinth today announced he has signed a recording deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco record label. In addition, the 21 year-old from Hackney also inked a label deal under the guise of Odd Child/ Syco, through which he and his manager, Marc Williams, will discover and nurture new talent.
Lab is the first artist of his kind to sign to Syco, which houses the likes of Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle, Il Divo and Westlife. It is also the first time in 6 years Syco have signed an artist unrelated to their TV platforms. This marks an exciting time not only for the super-talented superstar-in-waiting, but also for the UK urban scene as a whole.
“This is a crucial moment in my career, I’ve always been an ambitious and driven person and Simon has given me a bigger playing field,” said Labrinth of the signing. “I’m gonna show Uncle Sy a whole new world!”
It’s already been an incredible year for Lab, who celebrated a No.1 single with Tinie Tempah’s Pass Out back in March, while this week the pair hit No.2 with Frisky. Both tracks, produced by Lab, also feature his vocals.
Labrinth’s first single will be the defiantly original, feel-good, Let The Sunshine, due to be released Summer 2010. An album will follow, and meanwhile Labrinth will also be concentrating on finding and nurturing new talent for his Odd Child/ Syco imprint.
A big congrats to Lab and his management team for such an incredible deal. We look forward to hearing the results of the signing over the summer. At the moment the talented producer is working on tracks for JLS and Pixie Lott and has future projects in the works with Jay-Z, Rihanna and Cheryl Cole. Also watch for one of his tracks on Professor Green’s forthcoming album, Alive Till I’m Dead.

Orchestrated by Simon Cowell, the rapper and comedian made a late surge to the top of the charts with their unofficial charity World Cup anthem ‘Shout’, a loose cover of Tears for Fears’s 1985 hit track.
Only released on Wednesday, the track pulled in impressive sales of over 110,000. Corden and Dizzee performed live to an audience of nearly 10 million on Britain’s Got Talent over a week ago.
Tempah’s ‘Frisky’, featuring Labrinth, could not replicate the the 21-year-old hip-hop artist’s debut single ‘Pass Out’, which stormed to number one in April.
David Guetta fell three places from last week’s chart victory, denied third place by K’naan’s ‘Wavin’ Flag’, which was another new World Cup entry.
Meanwhile, Eminem made another small climb, from sixth to fifth spot, while Usher’s ‘OMG‘ re-entered the top ten at number six.
Jason Derulo’s ‘Ridin’ Solo’ and B.o.B’s ‘Nothin’ On You’ plummeted to seventh and eighth place respectively, ahead of ‘Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart’ by Alicia Keys, which was down two to number nine.
Pixie Lott only just missed out on making the top ten with ‘Turn It Up’, while Baddiel & Skinner & The Lightning Seeds benefitted from World Cup fever to rise a huge 43 places to slip inside the top ten.
