Tinie Tempah premiered today the music video for “Invincible”, the official fourth single taken from his debut album “Disc-Overy”!
I’ll go straight in and talk about the new music video…well…it’s basically Tinie ‘recapping‘ all the success he’s achieved in this very short period of time. Sold-out gigs, fan loving, #1 hits, etc, mixed with scenes of Mr Tempah at an ‘undisclosed’ location – wearing a flashy and pretty extravagant suit – singing the tune. I was hoping to see more of Kelly Rowland in the video , only caught a few glimpses of her. Quite disappointed with that aspect!
Invincible featuring Kelly Rowland – is shaping as a massive opportunity in regards of a crack at the American market in my opinion, the fact that he chose this single rather than the Ellie Goulding assisted track Wonderman only goes to prove this theory. It just goes to show how far Tinie Tempah has come this year, he is well on his way to increasing his popularity with every move he makes! Good luck to him , he deserves every bit of success going!
Tinie definitely could have another hit on his hands here!!!
It’s being hailed as one of the UK’s biggest grime tunes to date. I’ve been pretty excited about this track for a while and now the video has now been unveiled for all to enjoy!!
GIGGS, DEVLIN, EXAMPLE, PROFESSOR GREEN, TINIE TEMPAH and CHIPMUNK all appear on the track. The fact that Tinchy has gathered ALL these UK artists is no mean feat and shows the strength of UK music at the moment. It’s huge!!
Game Over is taken from the Tinchy’s forthcoming album Third Strike.
Judging by the reaction so far, the track is destined for chart glory… The result is the UK urban scene at it’s finest really!!
Check the newly premiered video out below….!
No can argue with the fact that 2010 has been a big breakout year from one young man who goes by the name of Tinie Tempah. Everywhere you look at the moment he’s not far behind in the shadows. After a debut number one single with “Pass Out” and following up that success with his second single “Frisky!”
Not to mention the imminent number he’s about to achieve success with this week with his 3rd single “Written In The Stars”.
Further proof of his amazing success this year is a pretty mind-blowing new collaboration with hot DJ collective Swedish House Mafia which consist of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Agnello. SHM enlisted the help of Tinie for this massive track which is to be released October 19th through Astralwerks Records. The track “Miami 2 Ibiza” will be featured on the highly anticipated album Until One,which compiles highlights of each Mafia member’s solo work to date which looks very exciting and it looks to be worth a purchase when it’s released for sure!
I’m digging the song definitely, one to tear the clubs up! and im also liking the newly premiered video.
Check out the official music video for “Miami 2 Ibiza” below.
HE’S helped thrust other artists into the spotlight this year including the likes of Tinie Tempah – and now it’s finally LABRINTH’s turn. Let The Sunshine is a very upbeat feel good track and is the debut release from SIMON COWELL‘s latest signing.
Having already collaborated with the likes of TINIE TEMPAH, JLS and PRO GREEN , PIXIE LOTT and lots more this year, Lab has stepped out from behind-the-scenes to lap up life in front of the camera. And he certainly seems to be enjoying taking the centre stage!
And Lab, real name Timothy McKenzie, clearly had a fun day out shooting his vid with some bikini-clad babes. Sadly for him, they didn’t get a chance to dance in the rain with him though.
Iconic photographer RANKIN – who has snapped KATE MOSS, BRITNEY SPEARS and THE ROLLING STONES – is the mastermind behind the video. The video was filmed stateside.
I think this track could do big things for Labrinth. Number one anyone? I think so! Let The Sunshine is released September 26.
Follow Labrinth on twitter @LabrinthDa1st
I came across Bluey Robinson‘s music a while back and I’ve been really impressed with his talent ever since. He has recently released his version of the Bruno Mars and Cee Lo Green track “Fuck You” which has been a really popular hit stateside! His take on the song is really original and quite funny. I’m really impressed by Bluey‘s vocals and think he has a lot of potential! I personally can’t wait for an album from him!
Follow Bluey on twitter @BlueyRobinson. Bluey is currently hard at work preparing for his support slot on Tinie Tempah’s upcoming headline tour coming to a city near you!!
Looking at the tracklisting for a debut album and you see the likes of Kelly Rowland & Ellie Goulding and of course the amazing Labrinth then you immediately get the feeling Tinie Tempah is already in the big time! He’s gathered some cracking collaborations for his upcoming album “The Disc-Overy” which is certain to be a big hit and extend his amazing year even further!
This duet will be included on the Londoner’s upcoming debut album “Disc-Overy” which hits stores on October 4th. Tinie has kept details of the album under lock and key until recently but the details are coming out now and they are exciting! In his short career Tempah has already scored two Top 3 hits in the UK with “Pass Out” and “Frisky”, and it all points out he will have another smash hit once the third single “Written In The Stars” gets released later in September.
Right then so what about the tune! I kind of like it, Kelly has been assigned to chrous duties but she does it beautifully!! I love the fact he is able to call on the likes of Kelly Rowland to sing on his songs! All in all the song is pretty good, and you never know it could get released as a future single! Who knows ey? It’d be great promo for Kelly too in the UK!
Production comes from Ishi who was responsible for Written In The Stars, and it’s definitely a similar sound. Personally I’m looking forward to Wonderman (which features Ellie Goulding) as Labrinth’s production has been really on form as of late.
Also another notable song which features on his album is a collaboration with Swedish House Mafia! It seems like Tinie Tempah is an unstoppable force in the world of pop music at the moment as he continues to deliver smash hit after smash hit. His track with Swedish House Mafia – Miami 2 Ibiza has impressed many with some claiming its out of this world. I think his success is partly due to his crossover appeal with dance music which is something that his contemporaries such as Tinchy Stryder are probably lacking a little. I like how he’s joined forces with Swedish House Mafia who are still riding on the crest of a wave from their latest release One which features Pharrell Williams.Very smart move from Tinie! The track is released October 10th which means in theory Tinie could top the charts 3 weeks in a row! Impressive!
Just a few days ago UK star Tinie Tempah premiered his newest tune/video entitled “Written In The Stars” – third single from his upcoming debut CD “The Disc-Overy” (due in October 4th) – This amazing single featuring Eric Turner will be available for purchase in the UK starting from September 29th. I have no doubt this will be another SMASH HIT for Tinie, after the staggering success of his previous singles “Pass Out” and “Frisky” which went to number 1 and number 2 respectively. The track sounds pretty epic , really does! Its produced by Swedish producer Ishi.! Love it, love it, love it! About the recently premiered videoclip, it looks pretty cool. The Parlophone rapper is spitting his verses on the rooftop, while his featured guest Eric Turner stays in the building, sitting behind a piano. The narrative scenes see a young boy who is so consumed with his book. Nothing groundbreaking but its simple enough to just work!
You can tell Tinie Tempah has arrived in the major league because his new video was filmed standing on a rooftop in America. No, really. Proof that Tinie Tempah is the real deal!!! Promised to bring the unexpected, the album itself lines up Kelly Rowland and Ellie Goulding in addition to Eric Turner. “If you’ve heard ‘Pass Out’ [the first single] and ‘Frisky’ [the second single] and think you know what to expect, you’re wrong,” so he proclaimed.
“On every single song you’ll get a line that reveals what life was like for me. I recorded a lot of it after Pass Out went to No.1, so that gave me a chance to reflect on life before and after achieving success. Going to No.1 gave me a chance to consider how far I’ve come, but also how far I intend to go.”

Is the Debut album from No.1 rapper to be released 4th October.
3rd Single, “Written in the Stars”, will be released on 27th September
On the 4th October, the undisputed breakout star of 2010, Tinie Tempah will release his highly anticipated debut album, Disc-Overy
Recorded over the last 11 months in North London, South London and Sweden, the album is a highly accomplished piece of work featuring an array of production that encompasses gritty grime, tempo-shifting drum and bass, and dark and brooding pop.
Already renowned for his daring musical choices, Pass Out is the single that not only put Tinie on the map, but also altered the path of UK urban music in 2010. Disc-Overy continues this adventurous attitude. “If you’ve heard Pass Out and Frisky and think you know what to expect, you’re wrong,” Tinie points out of the assorted array of production.
Simply Unstoppable underscores Tinie’s grime roots, Swedish House Mafia have created an undeniable dancefloor anthem in the form of Miami 2 Ibiza, while Naughty Boy delivers a deliciously brooding pop number Let Go, featuring Emile Sande. One of Tinie’s personal favourites, the laidback Snap talks about chronicling life photographically, including “My mum and dad’s wedding picture, which is my favourite photo in the world”, while Wonderman features Ellie Goulding and is produced by Labrinth. “I wanted this album to be really raw, not only in terms of the production but the guests. I was only interested in working with people I really respect and who I’m a fan of. I met Ellie very early on, we swapped numbers and after that we started living very parallel worlds; the same festivals, interviews and so on. It made total sense to have her on the album.”
Tinie looks set for yet another smash with his forthcoming third single, Written In The Stars. Produced by Swedish powerhouse Ishi, the single is a euphoric feel good anthem that details the 21 year-old’s past, present and future ambitions. Featuring the incredible vocals of Boston newcomer Eric Turner, the epic, synth-led single features crisp drums, razor-sharp guitars and a considered message delivered in Tinie’s uniquely credible style. “I used to be the kid that no-one cared about, that’s why you have to keep screaming ’till they hear you out,” raps Tinie.
The diverse and imaginative album features collaborations with Ellie Goulding, Kelly Rowland and Emile Sande with production from Labrinth (Pass Out, Frisky), newcomer Ishi, Al Shux (Jay-Z’s Empire State Of Mind) and Naughty Boy (Chipmunk, Wiley), as well as renowned dance producers Swedish House Mafia.
In addition to highlighting the finer things in life that success can offer, Tinie details the lows of fame and fortune, as well as offering a candid insight into his childhood growing up in South London.
“On every single song you’ll get a line that reveals what life was like for me. I recorded a lot of it after Pass Out went to No.1, so that gave me a chance to reflect on life before and after achieving success,” says Tinie. “Going to No.1 gave me a chance to consider how far I’ve come, but also how far I intend to go.”

Tinie Tempah has had an incredible year. Few debut artists boast two massive hit singles and captivate music fans, celebrities and critics alike in just a matter of months. With Pass Out being the standout track of the summer, Tinie has played every significant stage from Wireless and the Big Chill, to Glastonbury, Ibiza Rocks and Radio 1’s Big Weekend. In May, Damon Albarn invited Tinie to join him on Jonathan Ross to perform with Gorillaz, while in June Snoop Dogg, who did a remix of Pass Out, asked Tinie to join him on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. He’s won celebrity fans in the form of Prince William and P. Diddy – who enlisted Tinie for the remix of his latest single Hello, Good Morning – while Paris Hilton booked the rapper for a private party in Cannes. Having toured with Jay-Z, Chase & Status, Rihanna and Mr. Hudson, Tinie recently announced his own headline tour, which opens in October. MASSIVE YEAR! And its only going to get bigger and better.

Whether it be featuring on and producing top ten records for Tinie Tempah, producing remixes for The Gorillaz or signing to Simon Cowell’s Syco record label the kid Labrinth is officially the hottest property in the music business right now. He has also been producing records for the likes of Pixie Lott , JLS , Professor Green , not bad for someones who’s burst onto the scene in amazing style this year.
He has recently hooked up with SBTV to give his very own unique refreshing take on Bob Dylan‘s “Times They Are A-Changin” I cant say i know much about Bob Dylan but what a performance Labrynth gave for this song. True talent always delivers! Labrinth ‘s debut single will be out later this year! I for one cannot wait to hear it!
