New Video : Joe McElderry unveils his Ambitions Video..

Joe McElderry has finally got his video for Ambitions out there…in the last week and to say its a bit of a high tempo affair would be an understatement! It’s definitely very much an all singing, all-dancing affair from the Geordie! It’s very Glee/High School Musical ish..

The 19-year-old performer walks his way on the streets of a city and, at some points, breaks into choreographed routine with a number of extras. Yes you read that last part right, however cheesy it may seem Joe made it work!

“They wanted me to just do a few hand gestures, but I wanted a full-on dance routine,” the 2009 winner of “The X Factor” explained to the Mirror about the creative process of the video. “I made them get me a choreographer and everything.” The clip  was filmed at the Nu Boyana Film Studios in Bulgaria and was directed by British director Nigel Dick!

Ambitions is released October 10th.

Do you think Joe will take this song to Number One?

New Video Alert : Its Syco’s latest recruit Labrinth with “Let The Sun Shine”!

HE’S helped thrust other artists into the spotlight this year including the likes of Tinie Tempah  – and now it’s finally LABRINTH’s turn. Let The Sunshine is a very upbeat feel good track and is the debut release from SIMON COWELL‘s latest signing.

Having already collaborated with the likes of  TINIE TEMPAH, JLS and PRO GREEN , PIXIE LOTT and lots more this year, Lab has stepped out from behind-the-scenes to lap up life in front of the camera. And he certainly seems to be enjoying taking the centre stage!

And Lab, real name Timothy McKenzie, clearly had a fun day out shooting his vid with some bikini-clad babes. Sadly for him, they didn’t get a chance to dance in the rain with him though.

Iconic photographer RANKIN – who has snapped KATE MOSS, BRITNEY SPEARS and THE ROLLING STONES – is the mastermind behind the video. The video was filmed stateside.

I think this track could do big things for Labrinth. Number one anyone? I think so! Let The Sunshine is released September 26.

Labrinth has arrived – Let The Sun Shine Preview..

Watch a sneak preview of recently signed SYCO producer / singer Labrinth’s debut single…..’Let The Sunshine’;

The track will get it’s 1st exclusive play on MISTAJAM tomorrow evening.

Ok The New Olly Murs Video has arrived… Check it out!!

Being one of Simon Cowell’s favourites must be a very daunting pressure to be under.

Despite not winning last year’s X Factor, Murs had done a Leona and spent most of this year wrapping up his debut album, with lead single ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’ kicking off things rather nicely.
With hints of lazy summer tune, Murs’ Please Don’t Let Me Go is a track that smacks of both The Specials on a good day and Lilly Allen’s ‘Smile’ on a slightly worser day!
The track itself it not groundbreaking, but conjures up a warm summer feeling that is bound to flutter many a heart. I think this track has the potential to do very well which is good news for Olly Murs! Its a grower for sure!
Fans of Mr Murs will be very happy about the video released , I wont give away too much about the video itself!
Make sure you take a look below!

He has recently hooked up with SBTV  to give his very own unique refreshing take on Bob Dylan‘s “Times They Are A-Changin” I cant say i know much about Bob Dylan but what a performance Labrynth gave for this song. True talent always delivers! Labrinth ‘s debut single will be out later this year! I for one cannot wait to hear it!

Labrinth stated that the song has a lot to say about the industry today!

Music News : Labrinth Signs To Simon Cowell’s Record Company..

Producer and singer Labrinth today announced he has signed a recording deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco record label. In addition, the 21 year-old from Hackney also inked a label deal under the guise of Odd Child/ Syco, through which he and his manager, Marc Williams, will discover and nurture new talent.

Lab is the first artist of his kind to sign to Syco, which houses the likes of Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle, Il Divo and Westlife. It is also the first time in 6 years Syco have signed an artist unrelated to their TV platforms. This marks an exciting time not only for the super-talented superstar-in-waiting, but also for the UK urban scene as a whole.

“This is a crucial moment in my career, I’ve always been an ambitious and driven person and Simon has given me a bigger playing field,” said Labrinth of the signing. “I’m gonna show Uncle Sy a whole new world!”

It’s already been an incredible year for Lab, who celebrated a No.1 single with Tinie Tempah’s Pass Out back in March, while this week the pair hit No.2 with Frisky. Both tracks, produced by Lab, also feature his vocals.

Labrinth’s first single will be the defiantly original, feel-good, Let The Sunshine, due to be released Summer 2010. An album will follow, and meanwhile Labrinth will also be concentrating on finding and nurturing new talent for his Odd Child/ Syco imprint.

A big congrats to Lab and his management team for such an incredible deal. We look forward to hearing the results of the signing over the summer. At the moment the talented producer is working on tracks for JLS and Pixie Lott and has future projects in the works with Jay-Z, Rihanna and Cheryl Cole. Also watch for one of his tracks on Professor Green’s forthcoming album, Alive Till I’m Dead.

Here’s Lab and Tinie performing Frisky on BBC 1’s Live Lounge earlier this week.

Chart Update- Dizzee, Corden pip Tinie Tempah to No. 1

Dizzee Rascal and James Corden have beaten Tinie Tempah in this week’s UK singles chart.

Orchestrated by Simon Cowell, the rapper and comedian made a late surge to the top of the charts with their unofficial charity World Cup anthem ‘Shout’, a loose cover of Tears for Fears’s 1985 hit track.

Only released on Wednesday, the track pulled in impressive sales of over 110,000. Corden and Dizzee performed live to an audience of nearly 10 million on Britain’s Got Talent over a week ago.

Tempah’s ‘Frisky’, featuring Labrinth, could not replicate the the 21-year-old hip-hop artist’s debut single ‘Pass Out’, which stormed to number one in April.

David Guetta fell three places from last week’s chart victory, denied third place by K’naan’s ‘Wavin’ Flag’, which was another new World Cup entry.

Meanwhile, Eminem made another small climb, from sixth to fifth spot, while Usher’s ‘OMG‘ re-entered the top ten at number six.

Jason Derulo’s ‘Ridin’ Solo’ and B.o.B’s ‘Nothin’ On You’ plummeted to seventh and eighth place respectively, ahead of ‘Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart’ by Alicia Keys, which was down two to number nine.

Pixie Lott only just missed out on making the top ten with ‘Turn It Up’, while Baddiel & Skinner & The Lightning Seeds benefitted from World Cup fever to rise a huge 43 places to slip inside the top ten.

Elsewhere in the top 40, Dizzee’s ‘Dirtee Disco’ was down eight places to 12, N’Dubz’s ‘We Dance On’ slid nine spots to 17, while Aggro Santos’s ‘Candy’ sunk the same distance to 14. Also, ‘Solo’ by Iyaz dropped ten spots to 20.
