Introduction To A New Featured Artist : Prolific Jason …

Meet my newest featured artist … PROLIFIC JASON! Prolifc Jason is a rapper/song writer born in Zimbabwe now residing in Melbourne, Australia. He calls himself ‘the boy with billion dolla vocal chords.’ Prolific is part of an entertainment consortium called Urban Empire. With Urban Empire “Prolific” has hosted and supported several high profile events and shows through outMelbourne including Lloyd, Lil Jon, Wu tang clan and Tank to name a few.

He  has just released his infectious mixtape called RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS. And he is now ready to take over the world.

Random Acts of Kindness is Prolific Jason’s first solo mixtape. It’s a collage of emotions drawn out from life experiences of an up and coming unsigned artist.

“It’s a life testament not a recording” as he refers to his project.

AS THE SAYING GOES ‘GOOD THINGS HAPPEN EVERYDAY BUT GREAT THINGS TAKE TIME TO HAPPEN BUT WHEN THE TIME COMES YOU’LL KNOW… THE TIME IS NOW!

Prolific Jason’s ‘RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS’ mixtape was released online February 14, 2010 and garnered positive fanfare and response. The mixtape receved 3000 downloads within its first week of release. The mixtape was self financed and produced with all original production and songs. The project was recorded in a humble bedroom studio setup with very minimal resources. However, the quality of the music and subject matter speaks for itself with young MCee garnering comparisons to rap heavyweights Jay-Z, Nas and Andre 3000.

The brilliance of Prolificjason’s music is that you can really feel the hunger in it. There’s an unspoken truth, a refreshing honesty of an artist you can’t help but believe is destined for the upper echelons of this music industry. From the first song of his new mixtape you can really tell that this is something truly special. I implore you, matter of fact, I urge you to listen to Prolific Jason. It’s rare to find an artist this refreshing.

Behind the Scenes: JLS shoot music video for ‘The Club Is Alive’…

Determined to keep the buzz going which is a very smart move, the chart topping boyband have just posted a behind the scenes clip on their official Youtube channel. Aston Merrygold, Ortise Williams, Marvin Humes and Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill dance along to their own song and have some fun with the “beautiful ladies”. JLS actually went one step further for this video and hired Justin Timberlake’s very own choreographer Marty Kedulka for the music video shoot, this shows how far JLS have come that they can actually hire someone of that standard to work on their music videos.

The clip was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Frank Borin, who also directed the video for Alexandra Burke’s ‘Broken Heels’. The bar used in the set is the same which was used for Usher’s video for the amazing hit ‘Love In This Club’ which again shows how far the X Factor Runners up from the UK have come.Check out the behind the scenes footage below:

The video looks quite decent , and the song is actually growing on me a little bit after originally not really keen. Apparentely the video is set to premiere this coming Monday. So we should see the finished video hopefully sometime soon , in the next week or so!!!

In other music news, JLS have announced the details of their second book!

Their second book is set to be released this September. ‘In Just Between Us: Our Private Diary’ is the follow up to their bestselling first book ‘Our Story So Far’. The book focuses on behind the scenes moments and gives readers a very personal insight into their huge success story in the last year.

Let’s see. Book, album and tour all in the last part of the year – Coincidence? , they certainly trying to cash in on the recent success and their contined popularity,  They know they’ve now established a huge fanbase and seem pretty confident that their fans will buy anything they put out. You cant blame them one single bit!
.
JLS certainly are at the top and the best way to secure your future is when you are at the top. Cant Fault it! Im hoping for some better tracks on the album though! :) x

Music Video : Rihanna – ‘Te Amo’

Rihanna has premiered yet another track from her album.  The music video for the track ‘Te Amo’ has been unveiled.

Rihanna is certainly filled with lesbian desire and lust in the raunchy new video for ‘Te Amo’. You would have thought that Ri Ri would actually have turned down the advances of the female admirer in the video due to the lyrics of the song “Te Amo” but she does nothing but reciprocate the attraction.

The Anthony Mandler-directed clip was shot near a French château in Paris last month.I really loved this music video , shes constantly stepping up her game , as i feel it was a much better music video than the previous released video “Rockstar 101” . She’s proving that she’s capable of switching up the styles in her music videos.

Although it was sexual, it was done in a classy way which impresses me even more. Rihanna even took the oppotunity to do what she loves and pose it up for the cameras and flaunting her flawless good looks. All in all a good video i LIKED!

Isnt it ironic though that both Rihanna & Chris Brown are on tours at the moment , both releasing several videos, yet Rihanna is at the very top of her game , And well Chris isnt getting a lot of support should we say, i do hope that changes though. I support the both of them talent wise however , and i wish them good success.
